GOALS (Greater Opportunity of Access and Learning with Schools) was a major widening participation project within the West of Scotland Wider Access Forum which ran from 2000-2008.
Many lessons have been learned from GOALS and these have informed the new programme of activities for schools which is due to commence in Autumn 2008 (please contact the West Forum for more details).
Over the years almost 160,000 young people from 300 schools across 13 local authority areas were involved in GOALS.
