Summer Academy

The Summer Academy experience has already been voted an incredible success by over 6000 young people – an audience often critical of education and notoriously difficult to impress!

We’re confident the young people who come to S@S 2006 will be amazed by the facilities on offer and by the non-stop challenges – both academic and recreational – we have planned for them.

New skills

Over the two weeks they’ll develop and refine skills, abilities and knowledge in a wide range of subject areas. They’ll acquire new ICT skills, make business-oriented presentations to large audiences, learn how to negotiate effectively and create incredible design work. They’ll work as part of a small team, co-operating with other young people and a range of specialist university student mentors.

This is a tremendous opportunity to find out more about university life, and enjoy all the great resources a modern university can offer.
