S3 Campus Day
Campus Day is an opportunity for S3 pupils to gain a taste of university life by visiting a campus for the day and experiencing a 'day in the life' of a student.
Motivating pupils
The university environment is demystified for pupils by talking to student mentors and attending lectures and workshops designed and run specifically for them by the university's academic staff. The aim is to motivate pupils in advance of their Standard Grade year by giving them an appreciation of where good exam results can lead them.
Campus Day is a springboard to upper school GOALS Elements such as Summer Academy and Top-Up which all build skills relevant to higher education.
