S2 E2E

Before S2 pupils make their options choices, they will get the chance to take part in the Educaton 2 Employment Challenge.

As the choices children make in S2 will have a real impact on their futures, it is wise for them to take every opportunity to learn from the experiences of people who’ve 'been there, done that!'. 

Taking part in the E2E Challenge gives S2 pupils the opportunity to work with higher education students who have had to make the same choices that they are now being asked to make, and to learn more about the links between higher education and the world of work.

The E2E day

Over the course of the E2E Challenge day pupils compete in a team against other pupils in their year group. Looking at different university faculties in each challenge pupils think about how, by making the right options choices now, they can take their first steps towards higher education and a rewarding career.

The challenges are great fun and pupils will be assessed on their teamwork, timekeeping, and the quality of work they produce.
