Having worked successfully with pupils during their primary schools, we aim to consolidate this early activity.

GOALS provides a continuum of activities in secondary schools right through from S1-S6.

Since GOALS began working with secondary pupils in 2000, we have seen an increasing number of pupils with whom we have worked leave school and go on to university.

secondary pupils A number have then become student mentors and in-turn, helped and inspired other young people from similar backgrounds go on to university or college.

A long-term project

GOALS is a long-term project. The first cohort of pupils who were in P6 in 2000 will not leave qualified to enter HE directly after school until June 2007 at the earliest.
